Ranging in size from 1.75" to a massive 3" diameter, they are die struck in heavy bronze and then antiqued to enhance the details of your design. The super-deep relief gives a 3-D effect to your image. These medals are die struck from heavy bronze and antiqued to bring out the detail of your design. 2-D designs don't use as much metal. They still give the same size impact for which you're looking, at a lower cost. They range in size from 39mm to 2.25" in diameter. Some companies use lead to increase the weight of their medals. Medal prices are the same whether striking one or two sides (one die needed per side). Price includes application of antique finish, lacquering to retard tarnishing and an attached red/white/blue neck ribbon. The 1.75" diameter medals have 7/8" thick ribbons attached. The 2.25" and 3" medals have 1.5" thick ribbons attached. Custom die charges are in addition to the unit price, or you may select from a variety of stock dies at no additional cost.
